# A Living Handbook

> This handbook should describe the company we are actually trying to run, not a fictional company created during a strategy workshop. “Continuous *improvement is better than delayed perfection.”*

Anybody at Fuse Lab should be able to flag something that is wrong, stale, unclear or missing. If the handbook and reality diverge, one of them needs fixing.

The principles should change slowly. Operational details can change quickly. That is why we link to source documents instead of copying volatile information everywhere.

We should review the handbook at least quarterly and make smaller updates whenever the underlying system changes.
